I sent the message below as a text to friends and family members on Dec 24th. I pray it blesses someone reading the blog too. I also recommend that you download and listen to the message 'Christmas is not Yet Over' on mps or iTunes .
Beloved, the name Zecharias means 'Jehovah has remembered'. Bearing in mind that
God had been silent in Israel for about 400 years, the angelic visitation to
Zecharias was to break the silence. In spite of unbelief, he brought forth John
which means 'Jehovah is gracious'! This was quickly followed by the visitation
of Mary and the promise of the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to bring forth our
Lord Jesus Christ! Do you feel that God has been silent on your case? Read Luke
chapters 1&2. God blesses faith and judges unbelief. Draw inspirations, make
prophetic declarations, accept God's visitation and experience God's glad
tidings of great joy. It is not about food and clothes, it is about Divine
visitation and a New beginning for humanity. Participate in the good will that
is available to all men. Merry Christmas and a Glorious New Year! Love from
Bode, Dupe & family - Word Fountain Christian Ministries.

Count Down to 2010!
Beloved,
The count down to 2010 began on January 1st 2009! God has been waiting on you and I to finish 2009 victorious in spite of all that the devil would hurl at us in form of human opinion, judgements, criticisms, hostilities, either justifiably or not.
He counted the cost of our weaknesses, errors of judgement, high expectations and imperfections. Yet, in His infinite wisdom and mercy concluded that for as long as you and I do not give up, we can be empowered to finish the first decade of the 21st century and be ushered gloriously into the second decade!
To Him be all the glory!
My heart re-echoes Rev 1:16-19! (Please read). Laying emphasis on verse 17. It is important that we see Him as we seek Him! Avoid distractions. You must separate His voice from the noise around. Put on your spiritual filters. We all need to hear Him saying 'Fear not, I am the first and the last'.
That puts us in a state of readiness to embrace the first second of 2010.
Have you been stabbed by words of men, pick yourself up by the word of the Lord! Heaven and earth may pass away but not a jot of His word will pass away unfulfilled.
With the seven stars in His hands and the two-edge sword in His mouth, His countenance is as the sun shinning in its strength! May this be the light on your path in 2010.
I love you dearly. Thank you for the part you have played in my life. God has mixed it all up and the conclusion is that it is all working together for good. Rom 8:28. I pray that this is your testimony too.
When you consider my contributions to your life, please pardon my omissions. There is no place for them in your life in 2010 because God will fill every void if you allow Him. He will level the mountains you submit to Him and the crooked paths shall be straightened in Jesus name. Read Ps 119:57-64. Your walk with God will make the difference and your profiting will appear to all.
The thoughts below blessed me. I hope you agree. Having reviewed 2009 in the light of the scriptures, one thing that believers need to be better at is Silence. Indeed, 'silence is golden'.
I look forward to seeing you at the night vigil if you are with Word Fountain or in 2010 by God's grace starting with Open Gates!
God bless
Dupe
"Silence is one of the deepest disciplines of the Spirit simply because it puts the stopper on all self-justification. One of the fruits of silence is the freedom to let God be our justifier. We don't need to straighten others out."

Welcome The Month of Consolidation!
Beloved,
Compliments of the season! Welcome to the month of December 2009! The year the Lord ushered you in by His grace and mercy to make room for you and for you to be fruitful (Gen 26:22). How has the journey been so far?
To the glory of God we have had clear victories in many areas and there are still areas of expectations in Jesus' name. I will not deny the fact that there were some experiences that were disappointing but we can not attribute failure to this year! We know that all things are working together for our good!
The remaining 30 -31days are for consolidation. I have just revisited the experience of Isaac at Gerar again. He was not discouraged by the quarells of the herdsmen of Gerar. Are you discouraged by some of the challenges you have faced this year? Thank God you are an overcomer! Isaac's servants kept on digging until he got to Rehoboth and after he dug the well they could not fight for, he went up to Beersheba where God met with him that night to consolidate at least three things in his life and future (gen 26:24):
a) "I am the God of your father Abraham" - Are you not glad that your faith has root and fruits. God that was with Abraham is the God of Isaac. Not only was Isaac a natural descendant of Abraham, he is also a partaker of the covenant!
b) "Do not be afraid for I am with you" - For all the troubles and quarells that Isaac suffered in the hands of the herdsmen of Gerah, Isaac had reasons to be afraid. However, God reassured him of His Divine presence. Beloved, be encouraged as you acknowledge God's presence for the rest of the year and the future ahead.
c) "I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham" - God will never run out of blessings! Even in the last month of 2009, expect to be blessed and be a blessing yourself! God's ability to update your expectation and upgrade your capacity for exploits is never in doubt.
As we invest this month in focused prayer and fasting, be expectant. Let go of your fears, anxieties and doubts. Trust God and lean on Him. Challenge yourself to a closer and deeper walk with God. Do not be distracted by the commercial hustle around you. Secure the rest of the year and your future in God.
Join us at Word Fountain Christian Ministries for the following End of Yer Engagements:
a) 31 days fasting and prayer (December 1st - 31st) which dovetails into the 50-day Global fast that started on November 22nd - January 10th by God's grace.
b) December 20th -11am - 2pm - Annual Love Feast - Theme: 'God Among Us'
c) December 31st - 10pm - 2am - Night Vigil - Theme - 'Thy Kingdom Come'.
We look forward to having you and God bless.

Joining Americans on Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving – A proper perspective
Psalm 92:
• Thanks needs to be on our lips everyday. As we draw the breath of life that only God supplies.
• We can never say thank you enough to parents, friends, one another, and especially to God.
• Thanksgiving adds colour to our lives and flavour to our nature.
• Thanksgiving makes you strong and unmovable by the winds of circumstances. It gives you strength and vitality.
When thanksgiving becomes an integral part of your life, your attitude to life will change.
You will become more positive, gracious, loving and humble – Hannah gave God the only son she ever had and got 5 more. I Samuel 2
Numbers 28 and 29– Types of Thanksgiving/offering:
a) daily – 28: 1 -2
b) weekly offering – 28: 9 -10
c) monthly – 28:11
d) annual – 28:16
e) Harvest – 28:26
f) periodic/jubilee – Numbers 29:1
g) Day of atonement – 29:7
h) Tabernacles – 29:12 – For having a place of worship.
This is how God virtually drove out the spirit of murmuring and complaining from His people and prepared them for their inheritance.
What can I give?
Nothing is too big or too small to given- the measure is in the quality of heart with which it was given.
• Hannah gave her child
• the widow gave her mite!
• Jesus gave His life!
Who can give thanks?
Today's Thanksgiving is not limited to Americans. We can challenge each other to a higher spiritual height through thanksgiving.
You may be looking at the year 2009 and wonder what to thank God for. The year may be going, but God’s blessings never cease.
You are in the season of favour!

Lights shining into dark corners
Last week (Nov 16 - 22) was very interesting and fulfilling for me. I laughed and cried! I was able to visit the brethren in Coventry, partake of the Oxford Pastors' dinner and attend the Engage Conference organised by Care for the Family in London! There is so much to learn and share!
I thank God for what He is doing in our days. The believer is being called to 'sit up' and 'shape up' from all quarters. It is a matter of 'let him that has ears, hear what the Spirit is saying to the church.'
As we commence the 50 day fast to end the year 2009 and usher in the glorious year 2010 (Nov 22 - Jan 10), it is important that the process of pruning and preparation of the saints is uppermost in our hearts.
The days of pettiness are over! The Church must rise up and take the place that God has given to it in the scheme of things. We need to prepare ourselves to enable us maximise the opportunities that God will create as He continues to 'shake the world' out of its comfort zone.
My thoughts for today are centred on 2 Peter 1. In verse 10, Peter places a demand on the believer to work hard to be sure that one is really among the chosen! Do not take salvation for granted. It requires working at otherwise, it is easy for one to stumble and fall away. In verse 19, he admonishes the believer to pay attention to the scriptures. He explained that they will help us understand many things that may otherwise be dark and difficult because they are like 'lights shining into dark corners' (The Living Bible)!
Is there any area of life that is difficult? Search the scriptures, open your heart to the Holy Spirit, share a thought with someone and lean on God for solution. I pray that God's light will shine on the dark areas in Jesus' name. Amen.

Daily Desire
My greatest desire for each waking moment is the quiet assurance that God is in control! It stabilises my focus and strengthens my resolve not to give up or give in to the roar of the liar! I am learning to lean more on God's sovereignty and wisdom as I watch time flow ceaselessly into eternity.
There is a cross for everyone. However, just as there were three crosses on Calvary and only one was consecrated to be converted to a crown. I pray that your cross will be consecrated to be changed to a crown. Let us trust in the grace and goodness of God Almighty. 1 Cor 10:13. God bless.
